2011 Annual Mission Report of Faith Covenant International

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

Praise the Lord for His unending love and faithfulness! We thank God for the amazing ways He moves in and through our lives and ministry. We serve a Risen Savior! Hallelujah! How blessed and honored we are!

We began 2011 with a forty day fast. My wife and I responded to the Holy Spirit and committed to the fast. We are so thankful for how the Lord empowers His children to be obedient, strengthens them when they are weak and encourages them when they struggle. I am reminded of Jesus’ words, “I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.” We can do nothing without Jesus. But Paul reminds us in Philippians 4:13, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” Hallelujah!

As we reflect on 2011, there is so much to thank Him for, so many blessings about which we can rejoice. We are especially grateful for our faithful ministry partners. Your prayers and financial support make it possible for us to continue serving here in the United States, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, India and beyond.

As you read this 2011 report, we encourage you to join with us in praising the Lord for all He did during the year. He is Almighty God and He has moved in miraculous ways on our behalf. We also encourage you to review our vision for 2012. Please join us in praying for open doors that no man can close, for His provision according to His riches in glory and for the advancement of the Gospel of Jesus Christ throughout the world – that many lost will come to the saving knowledge of the Lord Jesus.

Pastor Masih

US Outreach

During 2011, Pastor Masih traveled to more than ten states, ministering in churches for 40+ Sundays. Many of those outreaches included multiple meetings (2 or 3 day teaching events, as well as preaching). Altogether, Pastor Masih conducted more than 150 US meetings in 2011. As many of you know, in addition to the formal teaching and preaching events, Pastor Masih also makes himself available for home and small group gatherings and Sunday School classes.

The churches where Pastor Masih ministered vary in size, but a conservative average is 150-200 people. When you multiply those numbers by 150 meetings, you quickly realize that 22,500-30,000 (+) were reached during 2011. While Pastor Masih is well known for his teachings on the truth of Islam, he also shares the Gospel of Jesus Christ. His message encourages and challenges Christ followers to stand strong in their faith. As he powerfully shares an uncompromised Gospel message, some listeners make a decision for Jesus (for the first time), while others recommit their lives to Him. Praise the Lord!

Pastor Masih not only teaches the truth of Islam, but also shares how believers can share their faith with Muslim neighbors and friends. Pastor Masih’s heart is very burdened for young American women who are being influenced to marry Muslim men. Some of his teaching, corporately and individually, has focused on warning these women about the dangers of marrying a Muslim.

“I attended your seminars in Cokato, MN a few months ago and found them to be very informative and really enjoyed them. My husband and I purchased the CDs of your lectures and now our bible study group is listening to them weekly…thanks for your help and all of your hard work.”
Amy N.

“Thank you so much pastor for your teaching on Islam. It has made me take a good hard look at the world we live in, and how we as a nation need to stand together in prayer never ceasing. My love and prayers go out to you and your family. I would like to thank you for being so brave in such a scare world we live in…”

We know that Pastor Masih was a blessing to the thousands of people in the many meetings across the United States. He is quick to point out that those same thousands have been blessings to him, his family and the ministry.

Sri Lanka Outreach

Faith Covenant International led two teams to Sri Lanka during 2011. In April, Pastor Masih and his team returned to Sri Lanka (first trip was in November, 2010). Two pastoral conferences were held in different regions of the island nation. More than 500 pastors and ministry leaders attended the conferences. They were taught, trained, equipped, challenged and encouraged.

One of the Sri Lankan pastors wrote,

“Before you and your team came, there was a spiritual darkness hanging over the church in our country. I sensed it; everyone sensed it. Since you have come, the darkness has lifted. There has been an outpouring of the Holy Spirit as never before. Churches are growing across the island. The average grown since last year is 20%. My church is just one example – we tore down a wall so that we could expand our worship space because we have new people joining every week. Your previous trips have made such a difference that I ask you to please return. The darkness has been pushed back and heaven is smiling on Sri Lanka.” All glory belongs to the Lord!

The second FCI team traveled to Sri Lanka in November. Hundreds of pastors returned (as well as new ones coming) for more in depth teaching and training. Once again, these precious brothers and sisters were encouraged as they were equipped to reach their nation for Christ. They were also joined by two of FCI’s leaders from Pakistan. During evening worship services, many were healed of diseases and set free from bondages.

We are especially excited to share that the outcome of the training conferences, and relationships established during the trips, have resulted in the establishment of dozens of bible schools in churches throughout the country. The pastors who signed up to begin bible schools in their churches received the resources needed (in their language) to provide biblical training for at least a year. The resources not only provide bible studies, but also leadership training, empowering students to become pastors and evangelists.

Pakistan Update

Our Pakistani ministry faced many challenges in 2011. You may recall that we had to shut down our website, www.fortheloveofmuslims.org in the Fall, because of actions of a former FCI Pakistan staff member. We praise Lord for His intervention. We are so grateful that we were able to get the website back up and running. With 70 pastoral leaders serving through Faith Covenant International, 11,083 Muslims were reached with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. 279,103 people throughout the nation were evangelized. 1,453 were baptized. 9,989 healing miracles were reported. There are 30 students currently enrolled in the FCI Bible College in Pakistan. And, 5000 Urdu bibles were distributed during the year. His Word is so powerful!

One of our Pakistani pastors told the story of a miraculous healing. The pastor and his wife prayed for a Muslim woman with breast cancer. She was healed! She then wanted to be baptized. The pastor admitted to being fearful – concerned about possible retribution from her family if he baptized her. With the encouragement of ministry leaders and reminders that the Word says, “You have not been given a spirit of fear, but of power, love and a sound mind.” (II Timothy 1:7) The pastor was emboldened to stand strong and without fear as he remembered that “I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength.”

A Muslim man in Pakistan had suffered with an illness for two years. No one had been able to help him. He remembered a Christian doctor and went to see him. The doctor told him that he was no longer a doctor. He had become a pastor. He said, “I do not have any medicine to give you, but I can pray for you.” The doctor prayed and told the man to go home, that he would be healed in 1 ½ hours! The man later returned to the doctor, so excited and completely healed! He said to the doctor, “Please tell me about this Jesus.”

Pastors were gathering for a meeting in Pakistan. It was during a Muslim festival time, and they knew they might have difficulty getting through the streets to their destination. At one point, the police stopped them, telling them that they could not pass – unless they wanted to give them a present. (Corruption in government and law enforcement is rampant in Pakistan). The pastors said, “We have already prayed for you because the Bible tells us to pray for our government leaders. We will pray for you again.” The pastors did not wait for permission, but simply began to pray for the police officers – one of whom was a chief! As they prayed, demons began to manifest in the police chief. He was set free as the pastors prayed! He then gave the pastors 500 rupies! The following Sunday he came to their church and gave them 1000 rupies more! We just praise Him – His ways are higher than our ways. We do not need to understand, just rejoice and thank Him! Hallelujah!

We have shared with you about the plight of so many Christians in Pakistan. They live as slaves, working very long, hard hours making bricks in the brick factories. The owners have created a system that keeps them indebted to him. Babies are born there, and begin working as little children. The elderly struggle to continue working, hoping to make enough bricks for food and very basic needs. The picture of a man with only one leg making bricks is heartbreaking.

We thank the Lord that we can report to you that about 150 people were freed from their bondage in the brick factories during 2011. Included in that number is the man with one leg. He now lives in a safe, comfortable place where he can be nurtured, body, soul and spirit.

While we are so grateful for the freedom of those released in 2011, our hearts are burdened for the thousands upon thousands who remain in servitude. Please help us free many more brothers and sisters in 2012. We ask for your prayers and financial support to make their freedom possible.

We also want to purchase twelve motorcycles for pastors in Pakistan this year. The motorcycles enable the pastors to travel to other communities where there may not be a pastor. The cost of each motorcycle is $1000.

We also pray for increased funds to provide food for the needy. Last year, because of limited funds, we were only able to provide food for about 100 people during the holidays. There are so many more who are poor and hungry.

Important Announcement

As the Lord has opened new doors for ministry in more nations around the world, He has impressed upon the hearts of Pastor Masih and his wife that there be a change in name.

Beginning in 2012, Faith Covenant International will be doing business as Jesus to the Nations Ministry. All donations made to Jesus to the Nations Ministry are tax deductible. 100% of designated funds go to the outreach or project designated by the donor.

Vision for 2012

Pagan prophecies of long ago continue to whisper that the end of the world will occur in December, 2012. But, Jesus said, “But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, but My Father only.” (Matthew 24:36) We do not know the time, but we know who holds the time! Hallelujah!

As we consider all that is happening around the world today, we certainly see indications that Jesus is returning soon. But, until He does, He has made it clear that we have work to do! “But when He saw the multitudes, He was moved with compassion for them, because they were weary and scattered, like sheep having no shepherd. Then He said to His disciples, ‘The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.’” (Matthew 9:36-38)

Ask of Me, and I will give
You
The nations for Your inheritance,
And the ends of the earth for Your possession.
Psalm 2:8

Almighty God calls upon us to ASK HIM! And, He makes it very clear that He will respond when we do. “My heart aches for this country (US), especially for the churches. The American church is sleeping! The time has come to wake up from the sleep and begin claiming and proclaiming the promises of God. Thousands of people die every day, right here in this land of the free, without knowing Jesus Christ. It is not just people in the third world who are lost and in need of salvation.”

We want to double our efforts to reach the lost with the gospel of Jesus Christ in 2012. We encourage you – challenge you – to join us. Ask God to fulfill His promise to give us the nations. As Him to give us the United States of America for Jesus – our families, our schools & workplaces, our communities and states, our nation!

We will continue to provide tools for brothers and sisters throughout this country, empowering them to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and to reach their Muslim neighbors with His Truth. Please note that FCI has tracts designed specifically for outreach to Muslims. You can obtain them by e-mailing Pastor Masih at pastorelmasih@gmail.com.

Pastor Masih is available to return to churches here in the US in 2012. As a reminder, there is no cost for him to come, no fees charged and requirement that his airfare be paid. All he asks is that a freewill offering be taken. “I would be honored to come and teach, preach, equip you further to share the Gospel with Muslims and all those who do not know Jesus.”

We have two international trips scheduled for 2012 (so far!). We will be taking a team South Africa in April. The Muslim population in South Africa is seemingly small. However, Muslims have made great inroads there. 40% of the parliament is Muslim. Most food products have the “halal” markings (indicating they are acceptable for Muslim consumption). Pastor Masih desires to return to South Africa (he attended Bible College there, and his family lived there two years before arriving in the US). He wants to teach, train and equip our South African brothers and sisters with the truth of Islam – and the uncompromised truth of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

The second international trip is scheduled for November when a team will return to Sri Lanka. More in depth pastoral training will be provided. The ultimate goal is to make Sri Lanka the FCI hub for Southeast Asia. Because a visa is not required for travel to Sri Lanka, we hope to be able to bring people from Pakistan, India, Nepal and Bangladesh for equipping and training. They can then return to their nations equipped, empowered and encouraged to reach the lost.

Special note for pastors and ministry leaders:
If you are interested in traveling with Pastor Masih and his team to South Africa or Sri Lanka, please contact Pastor Masih at pastorelmasih@gmail.com.

Pastor Masih encourages each of us to make a commitment to pray as never before. We need to pray for our government leaders, especially during this election year. Let’s join together in praying that God will totally and completely eradicate the evil representation in our government. In II Chronicles 20:1-25 we read of the situation King Jehoshaphat faced. Verse 12 tells us how he responded, “O our God, will You not judge them? For we have no power against this great multitude that is coming against us; nor do we know what to do, but our eyes are upon You.”

King David was facing the threat of his own son seeking to destroy him. II Samuel 15:31 tells us how David cried out to the Lord, “Then someone told David, saying, ‘Ahithophel is among the conspirators with Absalom.’ And David said, ‘O LORD, I pray, turn the counsel of Ahithophel into foolishness!’”

And, these words from Jude, “But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit, keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.
And on some have compassion, making a distinction; but others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire, hating even the garment defiled by the flesh.”

We can join together in obedience to His Word and “pray without ceasing”, praying for our fellow Americans and people all around the world. Praying, fasting and working together we can advance the Gospel of Jesus Christ throughout our nation even to the outermost parts of the earth! We must wake up – stand up – pray up and show up!

Once again, we thank each of you for your partnership in prayer and resources that make it possible for Pastor Masih and his team to do what the Lord has called them to do. Your continued prayers and financial support will enable the advancement of the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the nations.

Greetings in the powerful and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, Redeemer, Healer, Provider and soon-coming King! It is with humble hearts filled with gratitude that we offer you this report on our recent trip the Sri Lanka. We thank God for each of you-for your prayers and for your financial support. Your partnership enabled us to share the gospel, help believers better understand Islam, and equip and train leaders in other nations.

Our team of seven left Houston, TX on November 22nd for Colombo, Sri Lanka. During the first leg of the journey, to Doha, Qatar, the quiet of the all-night flight was disrupted by a crying baby. The baby continued to cry for over an hour in such a way that we were concerned he was sick or in pain. My wife encouraged me to go and pray for the baby. I was a little hesitant, but I prayed with my wife, then I went forward to where the baby and parents were seated.

I asked the parents if I could pray for them. They said, “Yes, please pray for our baby.” I laid hands on the child and began to pray. After about five minutes, the baby quieted down and did not cry for the remainder of the 16-hour flight. In the morning, I returned to the couple to ask if the baby was okay. They were so grateful; the mother had tears in her eyes. A woman from Kuwait was sitting next to them. She asked if I would pray for her also. Because we were about to land, I waited until we were off the plane and inside the terminal. After praying with her, I gave her a New Testament. With tears in her eyes, she gave me her telephone number and asked if we would call her or visit her in Kuwait.

Our team rejoiced that the Lord had already begun using us, even before we arrived at our ministry destination! It was a reminder-and I want to remind each of you-that the whole world is our mission field! Whether we go next door to our neighbor, take a taxi across town, work at a restaurant, take a plane ride, attend classes or go on a ship … our mission field is ever before us and always around us! Hallelujah!

We arrived in Colombo in the middle of the night and drove immediately to a campground about five hours away. That evening we began our conference for pastors and ministry leaders with more than 250 in attendance. The conference involved two days of training, educating and equipping. The people were greatly blessed. More than thirty pastors signed up to join our growing network of churches training lay-pastors to start evangelistic house fellowships. We gave them all the resources they will need to provide the necessary training, translated into their native languages.

While at the conference, we stayed in a nearby hotel. I wake up very early every morning for prayer with my wife. At this hotel, it wasn’t an alarm clock but mosquitoes that woke me up! I had so many bites, my body was protesting! After prayer, I got ready for the day, and upon opening my door, nearly fell over the owner of the hotel. He was a Buddhist. He told me that he heard our prayers as he passed by my door and that he felt compelled to sit down outside, and then he asked me if I would pray for him. I told him that I would pray for him that night. But, our evening meetings ran early into the morning, and he was already sleeping when I returned to the hotel.

The next day, I began praying early again. I left my room at about 7 am and found the owner once again seated right outside the door. He was waiting for me to emerge so that he could ask me to pray for HIM. Before I prayed, I shared with him God’s story of salvation, from Genesis to Revelation. I shared with him the WHOLE gospel-the bad news as well as the good news. I explained to him that nobody can be saved unless they come to the Lord Jesus Christ. I also told him about the Ten Commandments. Many people and religions believe that by doing good works, they can earn their way to heaven or paradise. Buddhists believe in karma.

After sharing the Ten Commandments, I asked him if he had broken any of them. He confessed that he had broken almost all of them. “So, when God calls you to judgment, you will receive hellfire. ” I then explained to him that there is a way to escape hellfire-through Jesus Christ alone. He also asked if I could pray for healing because of pain all over his body. While I was talking with him, two of his workers joined us. They heard the whole conversation. I explained to him that I could pray for healing, but his greatest need was to have the Healer himself-so that if he gets sick again, he himself can pray to the Healer and receive direct and total healing.

I gave all of them the invitation to accept Jesus Christ as their personal Savior and Lord. Praise Jesus! They joyfully prayed and received Him. I then prayed for them, especially for the owner and his sickness, and then left for our daily meeting. The next day, when I saw the owner, I asked him about the pain in his body. He told me that he had no more pain; that Jesus had healed him. All glory goes to the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen?

After two days in the inland hill country, we returned to Colombo, the capital of Sri Lanka. Our team included four other pastors. On that Sunday morning, arrangements were made for the five of us to preach in five different churches. God moved and many were blessed.

The following day we began another two day pastoral leadership conference. Over 300 pastors and leaders were gathered. During this conference we taught them how to set up bible schools in their own churches, and how to effectively disciple and train their people to be evangelists and pastors. Again, more than 30 pastors signed up to begin training in their churches.

Many of the pastors were blessed, encouraged and challenged. Our team members were also blessed, encouraged and challenged through one another. I myself was blessed by the teaching and preaching of our team members. For most of the year, I travel around the U.S. teaching and preaching alone. What a blessing it was to listen and receive!

Two of our pastoral leaders from Pakistan joined us in Sri Lanka. They were blessed, educated, trained and returned to Pakistan empowered to minister in their communities. We had a marvelous time together. Although the food was often not compatible with my stomach-it was super spicy-we never stopped rejoicing in God’s goodness to us. Plus, we did not travel more than half way around the world to enjoy tasty food, but to serve the Lord. What an amazing privilege and honor to be His representatives! Hallelujah!

Too quickly our time in Sri Lanka was over and we returned home on December 1st. Two days later I left for three days of preaching and teaching in Montana. Though I was exhausted, I praise the Lord for His strength and grace. I preached at 4 meetings there on Sunday, then 2 meetings on Monday and another meeting on Tuesday, as well as at informal meetings with individuals. I returned home on Wednesday.

The following Saturday took me to Ohio, from which I returned home on Monday. My last travel for this year will be this weekend, on the 17th and 18th. Please pray for these meetings.

In closing, I want to again thank you for your prayers, your partnership and your financial support. I also want to share a great report from Pakistan. Recently, seven more families were freed from enslavement in the brick factories. That brings the total number of families we have freed this year to 17. The average size of each family is six, so more than 100 men, women and children have begun living free, with hope restored. Again, your partnership has made this possible.

As we prepare to celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, I want to extend heartfelt prayers that you and your families are abundantly blessed, encouraged, strengthened and renewed as you rejoice in the greatest gift of all.

In His Service,

Pastor Masih

Many of you have contacted me over the last week to ask for details about “freeing a family from slavery” in Pakistan. Please allow me to give you an explanation:

As I have told you before, Christians in Pakistan are forced to live in ghettos, isolated from the Muslim community, and only allowed to work in the lowest paying jobs. Whether they experience physical persecution or not, all Christians in Pakistan experience financial persecution. When the economy is in decline, Christians are the first to be without work.

One of the primary industries throughout Pakistan—one that seems to be almost recession-proof—is brick manufacturing. Wood is scarce and needed for cooking, so everything is built of bricks. Over the last few decades, Muslim brick factory owners have created an evil system of indentured servitude for out-of-work Christians. “We will give you work when no one else can, and even provide you housing, until you are able to get back on your feet.” The housing (in a nearly uninhabitable one-room hovels) is free, but the electricity bill for a single bare light bulb is $20 per month.

A family of four, working 12 hours per day, can make 1000 bricks per week. They are paid $10 for every 1000 bricks made, which means they earn $40 per month … which means half of their income goes for electricity. Even if they go without power, their income is not enough to support them. These families are left with no choice but to borrow on account from the factory owner in order to buy food or pay for other necessities.

It becomes a vicious cycle from which they cannot escape, because the law supports this system. Until they pay off their debt, which is nearly impossible, they remain in “financial slavery.” And to make matters worse, their Muslim owners often beat them and rape the wives and daughters, with no protection provided by the law.

Please watch this video clip for a clearer explanation of the troubles Pakistani Christians endure.

For between $1200 to $1500 dollars, an entire family can have their debt absolved and be set free. In order to keep these families out of indentured servitude, FCI has purchased land on which we would like to build an apartment complex.

The cost for construction is $1500 per single-family unit. These would be available on a rotating basis until a family gets back on its feet. And for an additional $500, a family can purchase a bicycle, on which they may build a rack to transport fruits, vegetables or other items to sell. This “financial stake” would allow them to earn a modest living and a save a little money to protect them from future economic crisis.

Allow me to summarize:

For $1200-$1500 you can purchase a Pakistani Christian family out of indentured servitude, persecution and abuse.

For $1500 you can build an apartment that many such families may use over the years during their period of transition.

And for $500 you can set a transitioning family up in business.

Thank you for your prayerful consideration of this important ministry.

Please make your donation check payable to:

Dear Ministry Partners,

I bring you greetings from your brothers and sisters in Sri Lanka. A beautiful tropical island off the southeastern point of India, and called Ceylon until 1972, Sri Lanka is roughly one-fourth the size of Colorado. It is much admired for its vast tea, coffee and cinnamon plantations, and miles of beaches, historic gem mines, spectacular rainforests and central mountains. With a population that is 64% Buddhist, 19% Hindu, 8% Catholic, 7% Muslim and 2% Protestant, Sri Lanka is a fertile mission field.

Our teaching team of three was warmly received everywhere we went and God richly blessed our ministry. We taught morning and afternoon seminars for pastors and church leaders on spiritual revival and spiritual warfare, the Sermon on the Mount, Christian marriage and church growth. There were several hundred in attendance at each location. In the evenings, we led public evangelistic crusades. Many came forward to be saved and prayed for. We prayed for healings and conversions, for broken marriages and lost children, for freedom from persecution, and, every now and then, we prayed to cast out demons.

We established relationships with key leaders that will lay the foundation for future work.

Because of its religious diversity, Sri Lanka is a place of endless ministry opportunity. Because of its religious tolerance, it is also a safe place, in an unsafe part of the world. The people are open and friendly; everyone believes in God—the question is, Which God? The country has no visa requirements and the cost of doing ministry is relatively inexpensive. We learned enough this year to be confident that God can use us even more powerfully next year, so we are already planning a return trip. The idea of setting up an annual church leaders conference, open to people from all over south central Asia, is a real possibility.

Let me share with you a few of my own personal highlights from the trip. First, I was able to fly my aging parents over from Pakistan to be with us. A “blessing beyond measure.” As I told you previously, we have not seen them in over 13 years. My two daughters agree that meeting and getting to know their grandparents was the highlight of their trip.

Second, I led an all-morning seminar for MBB’s (or Muslim background believers). I travel all around the U.S. every year teaching on Islam, but rarely get the opportunity to share the information with an entire room of people who have been set free from the lie themselves. What a joy it was to share with them how they might reach others with the truth.

Third, I preached one afternoon at a Pakistani refugee worship service, in a church composed entirely of people who share my own experience—forced to leave our country because their village had been looted and burned by an angry Muslim mob. I could barely blink away the tears as I looked out over this crowd of faces who were experiencing exactly what I had more than a decade before. It was a privilege to share with them the story of God’s deliverance in my life—taking me, like the OT patriarch Joseph from the pit to prison, then finally to the palace. My heart still aches for their plight.

Thank you for helping to make this trip possible. Thank you for your prayers and your financial support. You invested your time and resources in something that made a significant difference in the lives of a significant number of people.

Your brother in Christ … Mujahid el Masih

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ Jesus,

We want to say thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your prayers and very generous financial support in 2009. Your partnership is making it possible for us to pursue God’s call to advance the Kingdom of God here in the USA, Pakistan and India. We are excited to share with you some of the results of Kingdom advancement in the past year.

During 2009, Pastor Mujahid el Masih conducted over 300 meetings throughout the United States. He brought the message of the Gospel and the truth of Islam to over 20,000 people. While much of his focus is on teaching believers about Islam, his greatest desire is that all would come to know the Lord Jesus Christ as their personal savior.

Throughout the year and across this country, many responded to the invitation to ask Jesus into their hearts. Numerous others rededicated their lives to the Lord, and many thousands were given a much better understanding of Islam and how we should respond as Christians.

In 2009, the Lord Jesus opened the door for Pastor Masih to go to India. As he preached, over 1500 people gave their lives to Jesus. Praise the Lord! FCI also funded two Christian music CDs. The last track of these CDs included a five minute sermon by Pastor Masih in the Urdu, Hindi and Punjabi languages. Please pray that these messages will be heard by millions of people in India and Pakistan.

In addition to all the travel throughout the year, Pastor Masih completed co-authoring the book, “Fearless Love In the Midst of Terror.” This book is available by writing to Masih.

Your prayers, financial support, and partnership in 2009 made possible much Kingdom advancement in Pakistan and India. Here are some of the highlights:

The brothers and sisters of Faith Covenant International (FCI) in Pakistan seek to be obedient to the Word of God. In Matthew 28:19, Jesus’ last instructions to His disciples were to “go and make disciples, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.”

During 2009, over 80,000 thousand people were evangelized, 6,410 people made decisions to become Christ followers through the ministries and outreaches of 100 FCI churches.

1510 people were baptized, publicly declaring their faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.

There is a bad news also. Eight Christian members of our church in Gojera were burned alive on August 1, 2009 by Muslims and 117 Christian homes were burned to the ground.

Through your pray and support we were able to help the needy people there in Gojera. James 5:14-15 says, “Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up.”

As FCI servants reached out to others, laying their hands upon the sick, 9,107 people reported healing from all kinds of sickness and disease. In the name of Jesus Christ and by the power of the Holy Spirit, many more experienced new freedom as they were released from things that had held them bound! And, again we say Hallelujah!

James 1:27 tells us, “Pure and undefiled religion before God and the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their trouble, and to keep oneself unspotted from the world.”

During 2009, FCI provided monthly school fees for orphans and poor children who would not otherwise be able to go to school. During the Christmas season, clothes were provided for 150 children who otherwise would not have received any.

200 families were also provided with food for Christmas and 50 very poor women were given clothing. We also assisted two very poor girls with their marriage ceremonies in December.

Please pray for these christians that they will stay strong in their faith in Jesus. These christians are very poor, they barely make $40-$50 dollars a month. If you choose to support the work of the Lord Jesus Christ, please send your donations to Faith Covenant International. 100% of your donation will be sent to these people, pastors, bible students and children.

Jesus’ first word in the Great Commission is, “Go!” In Pakistan, going is difficult as transportation is challenging and most pastors and missionaries cannot afford cars or motorcycles or even bicycles for that matter.

Unfortunately, in 2009 we were not able to provide any motorcycles, but we are praying that in 2010 God may bless us with at least twelve new motorcycles to distribute to the pastors and missionaries.

Amazingly, each motorcycle only costs $1,000.00. If you choose to help, please send that help to Faith Covenant International. Your donation of any amount is greatly appreciated.

Make your check payable to Faith Covenant International and send it to the following address:
