Annual Report

2011 Annual Mission Report of Faith Covenant International

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

Praise the Lord for His unending love and faithfulness! We thank God for the amazing ways He moves in and through our lives and ministry. We serve a Risen Savior! Hallelujah! How blessed and honored we are!

We began 2011 with a forty day fast. My wife and I responded to the Holy Spirit and committed to the fast. We are so thankful for how the Lord empowers His children to be obedient, strengthens them when they are weak and encourages them when they struggle. I am reminded of Jesus’ words, “I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.” We can do nothing without Jesus. But Paul reminds us in Philippians 4:13, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” Hallelujah!

As we reflect on 2011, there is so much to thank Him for, so many blessings about which we can rejoice. We are especially grateful for our faithful ministry partners. Your prayers and financial support make it possible for us to continue serving here in the United States, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, India and beyond.

As you read this 2011 report, we encourage you to join with us in praising the Lord for all He did during the year. He is Almighty God and He has moved in miraculous ways on our behalf. We also encourage you to review our vision for 2012. Please join us in praying for open doors that no man can close, for His provision according to His riches in glory and for the advancement of the Gospel of Jesus Christ throughout the world – that many lost will come to the saving knowledge of the Lord Jesus.

Pastor Masih

US Outreach

During 2011, Pastor Masih traveled to more than ten states, ministering in churches for 40+ Sundays. Many of those outreaches included multiple meetings (2 or 3 day teaching events, as well as preaching). Altogether, Pastor Masih conducted more than 150 US meetings in 2011. As many of you know, in addition to the formal teaching and preaching events, Pastor Masih also makes himself available for home and small group gatherings and Sunday School classes.

The churches where Pastor Masih ministered vary in size, but a conservative average is 150-200 people. When you multiply those numbers by 150 meetings, you quickly realize that 22,500-30,000 (+) were reached during 2011. While Pastor Masih is well known for his teachings on the truth of Islam, he also shares the Gospel of Jesus Christ. His message encourages and challenges Christ followers to stand strong in their faith. As he powerfully shares an uncompromised Gospel message, some listeners make a decision for Jesus (for the first time), while others recommit their lives to Him. Praise the Lord!

Pastor Masih not only teaches the truth of Islam, but also shares how believers can share their faith with Muslim neighbors and friends. Pastor Masih’s heart is very burdened for young American women who are being influenced to marry Muslim men. Some of his teaching, corporately and individually, has focused on warning these women about the dangers of marrying a Muslim.

“I attended your seminars in Cokato, MN a few months ago and found them to be very informative and really enjoyed them. My husband and I purchased the CDs of your lectures and now our bible study group is listening to them weekly…thanks for your help and all of your hard work.”
Amy N.

“Thank you so much pastor for your teaching on Islam. It has made me take a good hard look at the world we live in, and how we as a nation need to stand together in prayer never ceasing. My love and prayers go out to you and your family. I would like to thank you for being so brave in such a scare world we live in…”

We know that Pastor Masih was a blessing to the thousands of people in the many meetings across the United States. He is quick to point out that those same thousands have been blessings to him, his family and the ministry.

 Sri Lanka Outreach

Faith Covenant International led two teams to Sri Lanka during 2011. In April, Pastor Masih and his team returned to Sri Lanka (first trip was in November, 2010). Two pastoral conferences were held in different regions of the island nation. More than 500 pastors and ministry leaders attended the conferences. They were taught, trained, equipped, challenged and encouraged.

One of the Sri Lankan pastors wrote,

“Before you and your team came, there was a spiritual darkness hanging over the church in our country. I sensed it; everyone sensed it. Since you have come, the darkness has lifted. There has been an outpouring of the Holy Spirit as never before. Churches are growing across the island. The average grown since last year is 20%. My church is just one example – we tore down a wall so that we could expand our worship space because we have new people joining every week. Your previous trips have made such a difference that I ask you to please return. The darkness has been pushed back and heaven is smiling on Sri Lanka.” All glory belongs to the Lord!

The second FCI team traveled to Sri Lanka in November. Hundreds of pastors returned (as well as new ones coming) for more in depth teaching and training. Once again, these precious brothers and sisters were encouraged as they were equipped to reach their nation for Christ. They were also joined by two of FCI’s leaders from Pakistan. During evening worship services, many were healed of diseases and set free from bondages.

We are especially excited to share that the outcome of the training conferences, and relationships established during the trips, have resulted in the establishment of dozens of bible schools in churches throughout the country. The pastors who signed up to begin bible schools in their churches received the resources needed (in their language) to provide biblical training for at least a year. The resources not only provide bible studies, but also leadership training, empowering students to become pastors and evangelists.

Pakistan Update

Our Pakistani ministry faced many challenges in 2011. You may recall that we had to shut down our website, in the Fall, because of actions of a former FCI Pakistan staff member. We praise Lord for His intervention. We are so grateful that we were able to get the website back up and running. With 70 pastoral leaders serving through Faith Covenant International, 11,083 Muslims were reached with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. 279,103 people throughout the nation were evangelized. 1,453 were baptized. 9,989 healing miracles were reported. There are 30 students currently enrolled in the FCI Bible College in Pakistan. And, 5000 Urdu bibles were distributed during the year. His Word is so powerful!

One of our Pakistani pastors told the story of a miraculous healing. The pastor and his wife prayed for a Muslim woman with breast cancer. She was healed! She then wanted to be baptized. The pastor admitted to being fearful – concerned about possible retribution from her family if he baptized her. With the encouragement of ministry leaders and reminders that the Word says, “You have not been given a spirit of fear, but of power, love and a sound mind.” (II Timothy 1:7) The pastor was emboldened to stand strong and without fear as he remembered that “I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength.”

A Muslim man in Pakistan had suffered with an illness for two years. No one had been able to help him. He remembered a Christian doctor and went to see him. The doctor told him that he was no longer a doctor. He had become a pastor. He said, “I do not have any medicine to give you, but I can pray for you.” The doctor prayed and told the man to go home, that he would be healed in 1 ½ hours! The man later returned to the doctor, so excited and completely healed! He said to the doctor, “Please tell me about this Jesus.”

Pastors were gathering for a meeting in Pakistan. It was during a Muslim festival time, and they knew they might have difficulty getting through the streets to their destination. At one point, the police stopped them, telling them that they could not pass – unless they wanted to give them a present. (Corruption in government and law enforcement is rampant in Pakistan). The pastors said, “We have already prayed for you because the Bible tells us to pray for our government leaders. We will pray for you again.” The pastors did not wait for permission, but simply began to pray for the police officers – one of whom was a chief! As they prayed, demons began to manifest in the police chief. He was set free as the pastors prayed! He then gave the pastors 500 rupies! The following Sunday he came to their church and gave them 1000 rupies more! We just praise Him – His ways are higher than our ways. We do not need to understand, just rejoice and thank Him! Hallelujah!

We have shared with you about the plight of so many Christians in Pakistan. They live as slaves, working very long, hard hours making bricks in the brick factories. The owners have created a system that keeps them indebted to him. Babies are born there, and begin working as little children. The elderly struggle to continue working, hoping to make enough bricks for food and very basic needs. The picture of a man with only one leg making bricks is heartbreaking.

We thank the Lord that we can report to you that about 150 people were freed from their bondage in the brick factories during 2011. Included in that number is the man with one leg. He now lives in a safe, comfortable place where he can be nurtured, body, soul and spirit.

While we are so grateful for the freedom of those released in 2011, our hearts are burdened for the thousands upon thousands who remain in servitude. Please help us free many more brothers and sisters in 2012. We ask for your prayers and financial support to make their freedom possible.

We also want to purchase twelve motorcycles for pastors in Pakistan this year. The motorcycles enable the pastors to travel to other communities where there may not be a pastor. The cost of each motorcycle is $1000.

We also pray for increased funds to provide food for the needy. Last year, because of limited funds, we were only able to provide food for about 100 people during the holidays. There are so many more who are poor and hungry.

Important Announcement

As the Lord has opened new doors for ministry in more nations around the world, He has impressed upon the hearts of Pastor Masih and his wife that there be a change in name.

Beginning in 2012, Faith Covenant International will be doing business as Jesus to the Nations Ministry. All donations made to Jesus to the Nations Ministry are tax deductible. 100% of designated funds go to the outreach or project designated by the donor.

Vision for 2012

Pagan prophecies of long ago continue to whisper that the end of the world will occur in December, 2012. But, Jesus said, “But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, but My Father only.” (Matthew 24:36) We do not know the time, but we know who holds the time! Hallelujah!

As we consider all that is happening around the world today, we certainly see indications that Jesus is returning soon. But, until He does, He has made it clear that we have work to do! “But when He saw the multitudes, He was moved with compassion for them, because they were weary and scattered, like sheep having no shepherd. Then He said to His disciples, ‘The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.’” (Matthew 9:36-38)

Ask of Me, and I will give
The nations for Your inheritance,
And the ends of the earth for Your possession.
Psalm 2:8

Almighty God calls upon us to ASK HIM! And, He makes it very clear that He will respond when we do. “My heart aches for this country (US), especially for the churches. The American church is sleeping! The time has come to wake up from the sleep and begin claiming and proclaiming the promises of God. Thousands of people die every day, right here in this land of the free, without knowing Jesus Christ. It is not just people in the third world who are lost and in need of salvation.”

We want to double our efforts to reach the lost with the gospel of Jesus Christ in 2012. We encourage you – challenge you – to join us. Ask God to fulfill His promise to give us the nations. As Him to give us the United States of America for Jesus – our families, our schools & workplaces, our communities and states, our nation!

We will continue to provide tools for brothers and sisters throughout this country, empowering them to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and to reach their Muslim neighbors with His Truth. Please note that FCI has tracts designed specifically for outreach to Muslims. You can obtain them by e-mailing Pastor Masih at

Pastor Masih is available to return to churches here in the US in 2012. As a reminder, there is no cost for him to come, no fees charged and requirement that his airfare be paid. All he asks is that a freewill offering be taken. “I would be honored to come and teach, preach, equip you further to share the Gospel with Muslims and all those who do not know Jesus.”

We have two international trips scheduled for 2012 (so far!). We will be taking a team South Africa in April. The Muslim population in South Africa is seemingly small. However, Muslims have made great inroads there. 40% of the parliament is Muslim. Most food products have the “halal” markings (indicating they are acceptable for Muslim consumption). Pastor Masih desires to return to South Africa (he attended Bible College there, and his family lived there two years before arriving in the US). He wants to teach, train and equip our South African brothers and sisters with the truth of Islam – and the uncompromised truth of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

The second international trip is scheduled for November when a team will return to Sri Lanka. More in depth pastoral training will be provided. The ultimate goal is to make Sri Lanka the FCI hub for Southeast Asia. Because a visa is not required for travel to Sri Lanka, we hope to be able to bring people from Pakistan, India, Nepal and Bangladesh for equipping and training. They can then return to their nations equipped, empowered and encouraged to reach the lost.

Special note for pastors and ministry leaders:
If you are interested in traveling with Pastor Masih and his team to South Africa or Sri Lanka, please contact Pastor Masih at

Pastor Masih encourages each of us to make a commitment to pray as never before. We need to pray for our government leaders, especially during this election year. Let’s join together in praying that God will totally and completely eradicate the evil representation in our government. In II Chronicles 20:1-25 we read of the situation King Jehoshaphat faced. Verse 12 tells us how he responded, “O our God, will You not judge them? For we have no power against this great multitude that is coming against us; nor do we know what to do, but our eyes are upon You.”

King David was facing the threat of his own son seeking to destroy him. II Samuel 15:31 tells us how David cried out to the Lord, “Then someone told David, saying, ‘Ahithophel is among the conspirators with Absalom.’ And David said, ‘O LORD, I pray, turn the counsel of Ahithophel into foolishness!’”

And, these words from Jude, “But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit, keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.
And on some have compassion, making a distinction; but others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire, hating even the garment defiled by the flesh.”

We can join together in obedience to His Word and “pray without ceasing”, praying for our fellow Americans and people all around the world. Praying, fasting and working together we can advance the Gospel of Jesus Christ throughout our nation even to the outermost parts of the earth! We must wake up – stand up – pray up and show up!

Once again, we thank each of you for your partnership in prayer and resources that make it possible for Pastor Masih and his team to do what the Lord has called them to do. Your continued prayers and financial support will enable the advancement of the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the nations.
